This beautiful American model D7TP microphone was called the "Clipper". It was made by the American Microphone Company of Pasadena, California, circa 1940. It is a dynamic type, heavily chrome plated, and is equipped with the optional handle and push-to-talk switch. It cost about $15.00 when new and was primarily intended for public address use. The catalog excerpt (see image) is from a 1940 Montgomery Ward radio catalog.
Microphone is in awesome condition for it's age, NOT TESTED, Therefore I placed listing for parts or not working, please see pictures, if any questions please email me, I can provide more pictures if you so need.

Microphone not tested, so sold as is.
